Essential Information for New Water Customers
The Town of Allgood requires the following in order to establish a contract for water services in homes and businesses where a meter is already in place: All documents must be in the same name.
- Photo ID
- Proof of electricity from Alabama Power at the 911 address
- Copy of deed, rental or lease agreement
- Signed Contract
- $150.00 Connection Fee
- All new builds require a certified 911 address and an approved perk test from the Blount County Health Department before a new meter can be set and a contract for water services established.
- Pricing to set a meter for a new home or business can be obtained by calling Allgood Town Hall 205-274-7138. Pricing contingent on location and meter requirements.
- All mobile homes must be approved before installation by presenting all documentation pertaining to the mobile home at a regularly scheduled Council Meeting. To get on the agenda for presentation, call Allgood Town Hall 205-274-7138 at least one week prior to the Council Meeting.
